The venue

Basement 45, Basement 45, Frogmore Street, Bristol BS1 5NA.
A proper basement room under the middle of the city: low ceiling, close stage, full bar upstairs and downstairs.

Getting here

Eight minutes' walk from Bristol Temple Meads is a taxi; the 8 and 9 stop on Park Street.
Nearest car parks: Trenchard Street and Millennium Square, both under five minutes away.
Plenty of late buses run along the Centre after the show finishes at 9pm.

Do you permit large groups?

We tend not to permit groups larger than eight. We reserve the right to refuse entry.
We're an independent comedy club in an intimate room, we're not really set up to cater to big groups.
They tend to find we're not what they're looking for and we've found they change our vibe, not always for the better.

Accessibility

The comedy room is in the basement, reached by a couple of steps rather than a staircase.
Unfortunately, we don't have an accessible toilet.

What to expect

Arrive at doors, get a drink, pick a seat. Four acts and a host, two halves, done by 9pm so the rest of your Saturday is still yours. The front row is genuinely part of the show — sit there on purpose or don't sit there at all.
