Doors at Basement 45 open at 6:15pm. Come early, get a drink, get a good seat.

The show runs 7pm until 9pm every Saturday. We start on time — the room is small and latecomers are extremely noticeable.

No. Seating is unreserved and we fill the room from the front. Wherever you end up, you'll have a great view. If you have any seating requirements or feel anxious about where you sit, just let our team know.

All shows are 18+ and photo ID may be requested on the door.

The comedy room is in the basement, reached by a couple of steps rather than a staircase. Unfortunately, we don’t have an accessible toilet. If you have any access needs, email us before booking and we’ll see how we can help.

If a show hasn't sold out, yes. Booking ahead is always safer.

If a show is cancelled or rescheduled we will contact every ticket holder directly. If you've bought too many by mistake or have had a change of plans, usually we'll be happy to accommodate but we do reserve the right to refuse. Typically we will not refund tickets on the day of the event however.

We book a lot of in demand acts, sometimes they get a last minute telly gig or a big opportunity or sometimes they are ill. We're never going to get in the way of that so line-ups can change on the night. We'll always replace an act with someone brilliant, the acts might change but the quality of the night never will.
